Saturday was a Special Day

Thinking of the past Saturday I am reminded of the line from the Primary song "Saturday is a special day it's the day we get ready for Sunday!" We had all my sisters and my brother in town for our twins Baptism.

P got a little excited as you can see.

Afterwards my sister allowed the entire family to invade her home for birthday lunch and cake.

Family visit

We had D's sister and husband come to visit us the week before christmas. It was nice to be able to see them again. We had stayed at their home for a couple of days when we went to Disneyland and the kids were looking forward to seeing them again. Unfortunatly, I had to work most of the weekend so did not get to spend as much time with them myself but it was great to have them here.

That weekend was also our Ward Christmas party. The Primary kids sang Winter Wonderland and we had some good food. Santa even stopped by for a visit.

Since it was the twins birthday the next week they got to open birthday presents and all the kids got christmas presents from D's sister and husband. P had fun with T's new Nerf gun.

YA YA YA

Ok, so I have had this blogspot account for like 2 years and just never done anything with it. My sister puts me to shame with her continous posting to her blog. There ya go Sis my little plug for you. Figured I might as well dust this thing off and use it. With the family farther and farther away just makes it easier to share.

Kids karate advancements

Our three kids all recently got their new belt ranks at Karate. I actually teach at the Karate center two times a week so get to help teach their class which is fun for me and them. Each of them are doing quite well and moving right along.

The twins T and P got their Red Belts

And just the other night C got her Brown Belt. In about 4 months she will start training for her Black Belt test in around June. We forgot the camera so all I had was my cell phone.

Look closely

Saw this picture while roaming the net and had to share it. Look very very closely. What looks like a simple picture of camels is not. This was taken directly overhead at sunset. The black camels are really the shadows. The small white spots are the camels.
